The Quest for ‘Trusted Advisor’ Status: How Far Have Wealth Managers Regained The Trust Of Their Clients?
An invitation to participate in new client research
by Bruce Weatherill Executive Consulting Limited, Sponsored by IBM

The Wealth Management industry has been through arguably the most challenging period in its recent history and it has not emerged unscathed.  Against this backdrop, Bruce Weatherill Executive Consulting Limited (BWECL), sponsored by IBM, is embarking on a global research project to investigate how successful wealth management institutions have been in regaining ‘Trusted Advisor’ status and to identify what further needs to be done by Wealth Managers to win the trust of clients.

Importantly, this research will investigate the key components of ‘trust’, compare and contrast the responses of both clients and Wealth Managers and identify what further steps are necessary.

This survey is being sponsored by IBM, one of the world’s leading information technology companies with over 426,000 employees worldwide and 2010 revenues of $99.9 billion.  For almost a century IBM has been working with the world’s leading financial services institutions, building industry capability and making research and development investments specifically tuned to the needs of the global financial services sector.
